      How to Use API Keys for Specific Document Templates?

      By default, an API key grants access to all document templates in the application when using the Word add-on. However, you can specify which templates are accessible for each API key.


      Steps to Restrict Access to Specific Templates: 

      1. Navigate to the API Key Menu: 

      • Go to the API Key management section in your application

      2. Modify Template Access:

      • Select the API key for which you want to restrict access
      • Change the setting for "Rights to all templates" to No.
      • Select the specific templates you want to grant access to

      3. Save the Changes:

      • After saving, the user of this API-key will only see the selected templates in their Word add-on 

      For example, if you only allow access to the "Invoice_AdvancedMerge" template, users with this API key will only see and use this template in the Word add-on.
